Memorial Day

In a few days our town will have our annual Memorial Day Parade. I am looking forward to participating with my American Legion Post as an honor guard. I have been walking through our fields the last few days in hope of lubricating my arthritic knees for the 1.8 mile march. While watching the parade as a kid, I always pictured myself marching with the veterans in the parade and knew that someday I would be too, and I have been for the last several years. I have always looked forward to the parade and have and will always be proud to be a part of it as a veteran. Happy Memorial Day!
